To cut a long story short, it took many years before The WEG - Worcester Environmental Group came into being in June 2020. Paul Snookes campaigned, as an individual, for several years without much success to have native wildflower verges in Warndon Villages, Worcester. Through volunteering with Worcester City Council, Friends of Warndon Villages and the Duckworth Trust he began to create a network of like minded individuals who shared his passion for enhancing biodiversity in Worcester.
